McKenzie School District 68 has officially launched the instructional materials adoption process for middle and high school mathematics courses in accordance with district policy IIA.
A designated review committee—comprising administrators, licensed teachers, and parent representatives—will evaluate proposed math programs and materials using a standardized rating instrument. The committee may also coordinate pilot programs or trial use of selected resources. Our Lane Education Service District math curriculum specialist will also participate in the study.
Materials under consideration will be available for public review upon request. Final recommendations will be submitted to the superintendent, who will determine next steps in accordance with district procedures. This process has been announced at a regular Board meeting, and notifications have been distributed to parents.
