Meet Thomas Hayes! During his time at McKenzie, Thomas assisted with the shed-building project and trail restoration.
He also played football and basketball, participated in track and field, and was a member of the Robotics Club for two years.
Congratulations, Thomas!

With a total of $2400 raised and some student products selling out within the first thirty minutes, we are thrilled to announce that Market Night reached record-breaking sales! We are honored to be a part of such a wonderful community.
Thank you to all who attended Market Night. Your generosity will allow the next generation of graduated Eagles to spread their wings and fly!

Thank you to everyone who attended Market Night! Market Night will be closing at 7pm. Thanks again for making Market Night a success!

Once again, congratulations to Corey Culp, who was named High School Technology Teacher of the Year.
TechStart was on campus yesterday and presented him with his award and a $1,000 check.

Our first, second, and third-grade students embarked on an underwater journey to see Finding Nemo Jr. at the Wildish Theater, presented by Rose Children’s Theater.
The performance was full of exciting costumes, catchy tunes, and the chance for our students to make lasting memories with one another.
We loved that they got to experience the arts and ask questions of the performers after the show.

Did you know that nearly 40 birds of prey from the Pacific Northwest live at the Cascades Raptor Center?
On a recent field trip, kindergarteners got up close and personal with the resident birds, learning about their mannerisms, what they eat, and their habitats. This included seeing a Great Horned Owl! They also had the chance to view all sorts of raptors in the park.
We love that our students had such a fantastic time and got to experience Classroom Curiosity in the real world!

McKenzie Families,
Our phones are down on campus.
If you need to reach the school please call the Elementary cell at 458-239-3699 or MS/HS cell at 458-239-3718

Did you know that according to the National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments, 1 in 5 students between 12 and 18 are bullied every year?
In a heartwarming display of unity and teamwork, our first graders embraced the spirit of Classroom Curiosity. They joined forces with Mr. O’Hare and his students to construct a Buddy Bench for the playground.
This bench symbolizes the culmination of the first graders’ project on friendship, empathy, and skills to understand and stop bullying.
We are so proud of our Eagles and their commitment to ensuring our school is a kind and welcoming place for all students!

Meet Riley Morales!
During her time at McKenzie, Riley played basketball and participated in track and field. She was also involved with Leadership and filmed the home and away football games.
After graduation, Riley will attend Lane Community College for two years before transferring to Oregon State University to complete her degree in forestry.
Her advice to incoming students is to remember, “You are who you hang out with.”
Congratulations, Riley!
